Assoc. AIA – Architect in Training

Architecture is a great mix of art and mathematics – two things that have always intrigued me. I am thrilled to be applying these two passions in helping our clients create architecture that is both functional and aesthetic.

Andrew has worked with Nelson Architects since 2015. He graduated with a Masters of Architecture in May 2015 from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. In addition to his master’s degree, Andrew holds a B.A. in Environmental Design as well as a minor in Business Management.

While in school, Andrew worked on a variety of projects including interpretive centers and museums as well as the design of sky scrapers.

Andrew is nearing completion of his Intern Development Program and will begin taking the Architectural Registration Exam in the fall of 2017. In addition, he is working to obtain his LEED Green Associate credentials as well as certification with ACHA (American College of Healthcare Architects).

Andrew has a strong interest in green building and sustainable design. He has exceptional client relations skill; he really listens to what our clients want and is committed to finding how to put those ideas into the design. Andrew is also providing invaluable support to our IT and Business Development departments.
