Nelson Architects Adds Partner
As covered in the Great Falls Tribune May 2012
Dale Nelson of Nelson Architects, a local Great Falls firm established in 2005, formed a partnership with Ryan Smith, formerly a partner in the architect firm L’Heureux, Page, Werner.
“I have wanted to expand my firm for some time and have been searching for the right partner,” says Dale Nelson, former sole owner of Nelson Architects. “Ryan Smith is the perfect fit for Nelson Architects. In addition to his more than 15 years of architectural experience and his track record of excellent customer service, Ryan brings to our firm a broad set of skills that will grow and strengthen the firm.”
Ryan Smith worked for LPW for more than 10 years. He also worked with Taylor Architects in Bozeman. Smith’s portfolio includes notable projects such as Margaret J. Maclean Animal Welfare Center, design development of Benefis Health System South Tower Concourse, Great Falls Clinic Specialty Facility (second floor design), new Montana Air National Guard Squadron Operations Facility, Prairie Mountain Bank and the recent new Welcome to Great Falls signage.
Smith is a LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Accredited Professional with a BD&C (Building Design & Construction) specialty.
“I am thrilled to be a partner with Dale at Nelson Architects,” said Ryan Smith. “We compliment each other’s skill sets and share a common design and live-work philosophy. I am excited to have the opportunity to add my vision, values and ideas to the firm and to be much more hands on with our clients. I especially wanted the opportunity to work with clients through the construction phase and that is something in which Nelson Architects excels.”
Nelson Architects has a staff of two full time architects, two architectural interns, an interior designer, and construction manager. Service offerings include: all aspects of architecture such as green building design, construction management and administration, 3-D visualization and renderings, consulting, interiors, and planning / feasibility studies.
