Challenge

This new, modern Easter Seals Goodwill store features a 20,000 square foot sales floor and a 6,000 square foot receiving and processing warehouse.

The new store offers ample cashier checkout stations, three changing rooms and a dedicated space to showcase merchandise. We also included office space for administrative staff.

We designed this store to improve the flow for shoppers and donors. The store front has generous parking and easy access to shopping while the back has a looped, covered drop-off area, making it easy for Goodwill staff to manage donations.

A large production room in the back of the store was designed to allow staff to sort, clean, and prep merchandise for the retail floor. Staff can now easily box and store items not fit for resale.

The store includes a beautiful, exposed concrete floor.

Cost: $3,200,000

Size: 26,000 SF

Unique: To fit the project budget, a metal building was used. We designed the façade of this metal building to resemble a more traditionally constructed building.
