Challenge

The owner hired our firm to design the Front Range Assisted Living community to serve as a model for future senior living communities in other rural vicinities.
Our scope of work included architectural design and construction adminstration.

This two-story, 16-room Assisted Living community (Phase 1), was designed especially for the independently-minded senior. The community features a country-style kitchen and home-styled dining area. A beautiful and spacious activities room was included to allow the residents a place to socialize and play games.

Each apartment is furnished with a sink and refrigerator. The apartments are equipped with their own heating and air-conditioning controls as well as an emergency call system. The residences range in size from standard one-bedrooms to larger suites with additional bathroom amenities. Five apartments are ADA accessible and feature en-suite bathrooms with roll- in showers. During phase two, 10 more rooms were added to the assisted living community.

Cost: $1.1 million – Phase 1 | $500,000 – Phase 2

Size: 9,000 SF Phase 1 | 7,000 SF Phase 2

Unique: Designing a model of Senior Living to fit the culture and economy of rural Montana.
