Challenge
The Paris Gibson Education Center project required us to create a strategy that made the school’s original design ADA compliant and to replace windows on the multipurpose room and cafeteria.
Our design solution strategically located a new, double-sided four-stop elevator that connected the existing floor levels. This strategy significantly reduced the construction costs by eliminating the need for multiple elevators.
We replaced the existing window assemblies in the cafeteria and upper- level multipurpose room with high performance, insulated windows. Replacing the windows allowed these rooms to become more energy efficient.
