As Managing Partner of Nelson Architects, Ryan brings more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of architectural design from master planning, project management, green building design to construction administration. He operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, a positive attitude, and the ability to clearly communicate throughout all stages of the project. Those traits along with his many years of architectural experience, has earned him our client’s trust and confidence. He has built an admirable reputation as an architect as evidenced by a robust portfolio of repeat clients.

Ryan’s focus is on commercial healthcare design. In fact, as lead on Benefis Health System’s Eastview Senior Care Center, we were awarded the spotlight in the September 2015 issue of Healthcare Design magazine’s coveted Annual Showcase. Whether a renovation, addition or new construction, Ryan’s most rewarding projects are those that involve the latest advances in medical equipment, medical design best practices, and require multi-phase design to keep the facilities’ primary function up and running to treat patients 24 hours per day.

The design discipline required with successful execution of technical medical projects has translated into a proven process for all of Ryan’s projects whether it is high-caliber residential design to university-level State projects.
