Challenge
This 9,700 square foot addition encompasses six elementary instructional classrooms including a special education classroom, six administrative offices, a girls’ and boys’ restroom, storage spaces, a mechanical space and a janitorial space. We provided a full range of services on this project, including site planning, architectural design, interior design and construction administration.
We also provided extensive grant administration services as project funding came from a Quality School Planning Grant under the American Reinvestment Recovery Act along with District money.
The new addition is significantly enhancing the learning and working environments for both faculty members and students.Cost: $2,000,000

Unique:
Each classroom features its own signature color and tile patterns. To engage the school, we had the students and teachers add color- coordinated way-finding footprints leading into their classrooms.
